Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective date: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Upfront Security Associates, LLC (“Upfront,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website or submitting information through it, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms & Conditions.
The short version: we collect only what you choose to send us and basic, anonymous visit statistics. We do not sell your information, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share your information with advertisers.
1. Who we are
Upfront Security Associates, LLC is a security, protection and investigations company based in Melville, New York. This policy covers this website only. Information you give us as a client under a signed service agreement is also governed by that agreement.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this website, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address, business or organization, the address of the property or location, what you’d like protected, the service you’re interested in, and your questions, comments or concerns. We also note which page you sent it from and, when available, how you found our website (for example, a Google search). Your submission is saved in our secure, password-protected staff portal so our team can follow up, and it may also be emailed to our office. We also receive any information you send us directly by email or phone.
Please don’t include sensitive details in the form, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical information or specific details of a threat. We’ll collect what we need securely once we speak with you.
Information collected automatically
- Visit statistics. Our own visit counter records the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device (desktop, tablet or phone), the website that referred you, and an approximate location (city, region and country) provided by our hosting provider. It uses a random visit number that is erased when you close your browser tab. We do not store your IP address, and we do not try to identify you.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Our hosting provider gives us aggregated, cookie-free traffic reports.
- Security logs. Like all websites, our hosting provider processes technical data, such as IP addresses and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site against attacks and abuse.
3. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising, tracking or social media cookies. The website uses your browser’s storage only to:
- keep the random visit number described above for the length of your visit;
- remember your accessibility toolbar settings (such as text size or contrast) on your own device; and
- keep authorized Upfront staff signed in to the website’s staff area.
Do Not Track: if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, our visit counter does not run.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and contact you about the services you asked about, by phone, email or text message at the number or address you provided
- To prepare proposals and provide services you request
- To understand how the website is used and improve it
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud, spam and abuse, including automated checks on form submissions (which may use Cloudflare Turnstile)
- To keep business records and meet legal, insurance and regulatory obligations
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims
We will not add you to a marketing list without your permission, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
5. How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that run the website and our communications for us, such as Cloudflare (website hosting, security and analytics), Resend (emailing form notifications to our office), Google Fonts (displaying the website’s typefaces) and our email provider. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Within Upfront, with the team members who need it to respond to you and provide services.
- For legal reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena or court order, or is needed to protect the safety, rights or property of any person, our clients or Upfront.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, sale or reorganization, subject to this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
6. How long we keep information
We keep contact-form inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you, provide services, keep reasonable business records and meet legal obligations, and then delete them. Visit statistics are automatically deleted after about 13 months.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, a staff portal that requires a password, and access limited to authorized staff. No website, internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us right away.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or legitimate business reasons; or
- stop contacting you.
To make a request, email [email protected] or call (347) 988-0199. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, and we will honor them as those laws require. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
9. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults, including parents, school administrators and business owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Other websites
This website links to other sites, such as the Better Business Bureau, Facebook and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and it applies from that date.
