Accessibility
A website everyone can use.
We want every visitor to be able to learn about our services and reach our team, including people who use assistive technology.
Our commitment
Upfront Security Associates is committed to making this website accessible to people with disabilities. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and we review the site as we add new content.
What we’ve done
- Pages are built with clear headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link, so they work with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and buttons are designed to meet WCAG color-contrast requirements.
- The site respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets and browser zoom.
- Forms have labels and clear error messages.
Accessibility toolbar
Select the round accessibility button in the bottom-right corner of any page to open the toolbar. It can:
- Read aloud: read the whole page, or click any paragraph to hear just that part, at slow, normal or fast speed.
- Make text bigger, up to 150%.
- Turn on high contrast, a readable font, or extra text spacing.
- Highlight links, pause animations, show a big cursor, or add a reading guide that follows your mouse.
Your choices are remembered on your device until you select “Reset all.” The toolbar works alongside the tools already built into your device, such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack and browser zoom.
